Emma­nu­el­le Machinet is Con­seil en Pro­prié­té Indus­tri­el­le and Euro­pean Design and Trade­mark Attor­ney. She has worked in the field of intel­lec­tu­al pro­per­ty sin­ce 1998, initi­al­ly at the French Insti­tu­te for Intel­lec­tu­al Pro­per­ty (INPI) befo­re joi­ning our firm in 2003. She holds a master’s degree in intel­lec­tu­al pro­per­ty law from Paris II Pan­thé­on-Assas Uni­ver­si­ty and a master’s degree in com­mer­cial law from Paris-Est Cré­teil Uni­ver­si­ty, whe­re she now tea­ches intel­lec­tu­al pro­per­ty law herself.

Emma­nu­el­le Machinet works in the fiel­ds of trade­marks, designs, copy­right and domain names. Her exper­ti­se covers in par­ti­cu­lar advi­sing and assis­ting our cli­ents in their stra­te­gies to pro­tect and defend their IP rights in Fran­ce and abroad. She is also invol­ved in con­trac­tu­al aspects, unfair com­pe­ti­ti­on, pre-liti­ga­ti­on and liti­ga­ti­on fol­low-up as well as port­fo­lio audits.
